  • Rear peep and front globe sight
  • Fits many round-barrel in-line muzzleloaders

The CVA Williams Peep Sight Kit is a Williams Western precision peep sight with a front globe sight, made for modern round-barrel in-line muzzleloaders. It’s $150, in stock, and a strong option for states that don’t allow scopes during muzzleloader season.

CVA Williams Peep Sight Kit features

A peep sight puts a small aperture close to your eye. Your eye centers the front sight in that hole on its own, which is why peep sights are faster and more precise than a notch and post. The front globe protects the front sight insert and gives you a clean, round sight picture.

This system gives a clear sight picture for longer muzzleloader shots without magnification. It’s designed to fit many modern round-barrel in-lines, including the CVA Accura and Optima lines.

Iron sights also make sense as a backup. If a scope fogs or takes a knock on a climb, a peep sight is still there and still zeroed.

Which CVA muzzleloaders suit the CVA Williams Peep Sight Kit?

It’s a natural fit on the CVA Accura MR-X 45 caliber and the Accura LR-X 50 caliber, and it works on many Optima V2 muzzleloaders too. Check your rifle’s barrel profile before you order. If you’re not sure, ask us with your model and we’ll confirm the fit.

The Accura LR-X 50 caliber with peep sight comes with a Williams Western peep sight already fitted, if you’d rather buy it as one package.

Sighting in a peep sight

Start at 25 yards. Move the rear aperture in the direction you want the bullet to go: up to raise impact, right to move it right. Once you’re on paper and centered, step back to 50 and then 100 yards. With a muzzleloader, use the same powder charge and bullet every time, because a change in load will move your zero.

Pick the largest aperture that still gives you a clean picture. A bigger hole is faster and brighter in low light, and your eye will still center the front sight.
