What you get with the CVA Scout V2 300 Blackout
The Scout V2 is the updated Scout. It has a fluted 416 stainless steel barrel and the same simple break action.
The hammer spur reverses for left or right-handed shooters. The stock is 100 percent ambidextrous with a CrushZone recoil pad. A DuraSight Weaver-style mount makes scoping it easy.
This rifle has a corrosion-resistant barrel finish, which helps on wet days and long hunts.
Why 300 AAC Blackout?
The 300 AAC Blackout came out in 2011. It puts a 30 caliber bullet in a case based on the 223, and it runs well from short barrels. Supersonic 110 to 125 grain loads work for hogs and deer at close range, and subsonic loads are quiet with a suppressor where those are legal.
If you want the technical side, the SAAMI cartridge drawings cover chamber dimensions. Wikipedia has a good summary of the 300 AAC Blackout too.
