The CVA Cascade 28 Nosler is a 28 Nosler rifle from CVA’s Cascade line, in Big Sky SoftTouch Gray with a 24 inch barrel. It sells for $679 and ships from stock. Order online and we’ll send it to the FFL dealer you choose at checkout.
CVA Cascade 28 Nosler features
The Cascade is CVA’s bolt-action hunting rifle. Its 4140 carbon steel barrel is threaded 5/8×24 at the muzzle, so you can add a brake or suppressor where the law allows.
It takes two-piece scope bases made for the Savage 110, so mounts are easy to find. The bolt lifts 70 degrees, so it cycles fast and clears a big scope. A two-position safety sits where your thumb lands. It feeds from a flush-fit detachable magazine.
The Big Sky SoftTouch Gray finish keeps glare down in the field, and the synthetic stock won’t swell or warp in wet weather.
Why 28 Nosler?
Nosler’s 28 Nosler arrived in 2015. It’s a fast 7mm magnum that runs heavy, high-BC bullets at speeds the 7mm Rem Mag can’t match. It’s a long-range elk round. Ammo is mostly Nosler’s own, so buy enough to zero and hunt with one load.
SAAMI publishes the official chamber and cartridge drawings on its cartridge and chamber drawings page. There’s also a readable 28 Nosler history on Wikipedia.
