CVA’s Optima V2 is a 50 caliber break-action in-line that sits between the Wolf and the Accura. You get a quick-release breech plug and a PalmSaver ramrod.
A CrushZone recoil pad softens heavy charges. It’s drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It fires with a 209 primer and has a 1:28 twist. The quick-release breech plug comes out by hand, no tools needed.
This muzzleloader has a corrosion-resistant barrel finish, which helps on wet days and long hunts.
Why 50 Caliber?
The 50 caliber is the most common modern muzzleloader bore. You’ll find the widest choice of sabots, conicals and pellet charges for it.
