CVA Cascade 7mm Rem Mag FDE features
The Cascade is CVA’s answer to hunters who want a bolt rifle that fits more than one person. It has a threaded 4140 steel barrel, a 70 degree bolt throw and a stock you can shorten.
It feeds from a flush-fit detachable magazine. The fiberglass-reinforced synthetic stock has a SoftTouch finish that grips well in rain and cold. A removable spacer adjusts length of pull, so the same rifle can fit a teenager now and an adult later. Dual front swivel studs let you run a sling and a bipod at the same time.
Cerakote is a ceramic coating that resists rust and scratches better than bluing. On this rifle it means less worry in rain, snow and salt air.
7mm Remington Magnum in the CVA Cascade 7mm Rem Mag FDE
Remington released the 7mm Rem Mag in 1962, and it’s still one of the best-selling magnum cartridges. It shoots flat, has less recoil than a 300 magnum, and 150 to 175 grain bullets cover deer through elk.
If you want the technical side, the SAAMI cartridge drawings cover chamber dimensions. Wikipedia has a good summary of the 7mm Remington Magnum too.
